The stand up paddle is an ideal support to appreciate this protected space and s venture under its majestic tunnels of red mangrove trees.

Babin beach is also famous for its soothing mud baths.

Departing from Petit Canal, we will follow the leeward coast of Grande Terre to reach a river which will offer us a sumptuous gallery of red mangroves. We will take the time for a refreshment on the sandy point beach, accessible only by sea. On the way to Port Louis, you will admire the corals, along an authentic coastline.

From Morne-Rouge, two routes are possible depending on the wind:

“Ilets du Grand-Cul-De-Sac-Marin” route (light wind):

Sail on a turquoise lagoon to discover paradisiacal and unspoiled islands classified as "heart of a National Park". you will discover the bird island which offers a nesting site for herons, frigates and pelicans as well as the white island, diamond of the Grand - cul-de-sac-marin.

Route “Littoral” (strong wind):

We will follow the coast, passing under a magical labyrinth of red mangroves. Then, crossing mangrove islands, we will reach Sainte-Rose.
